The Forum and the Summit sit inside a working museum, not a convention hall.

The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Atchugarry opened in January 2022 in Manantiales, east of Punta del Este. Founded by the sculptor Pablo Atchugarry and designed by the architect Carlos Ott, it is open to the public year-round with an international exhibition programme. Holding the Bienal there sets the register before a word is spoken.
